Day 1: Transfer from the airport to the selected hotel and check-in. In the afternoon, tour the historic center of Bogotá, visiting Plaza de Bolívar, government buildings, and the La Candelaria neighborhood. Also, visit the Botero Museum and the Gold Museum. Then, ascend to Monserrate Hill to enjoy a panoramic view of the city.
Day 2: Transfer to El Dorado International Airport in Bogotá and flight to Guajira. Transfer to the hotel in Riohacha. Free afternoon.
Day 3: Panoramic tour of Uribia and visit to the municipality of Manaure to learn about the salt collection process. Then, continue the journey through the desert to Cape Vela, where you can enjoy the sunset. Overnight in a typical Wayuu accommodation.
Day 4: Return to Riohacha and free time to visit the boardwalk, the cathedral, and buy handicrafts. Return to Santa Marta and rest.
Day 5: Tour of Macondo, visiting Gabriel García Márquez’s house-museum in Aracataca. Return to Santa Marta and rest.
Day 6: Transfer to Simón Bolívar International Airport in Santa Marta and flight to Bogotá. Transfer to the hotel in Bogotá and free afternoon.
Day 7: Transfer to El Dorado Airport in Bogotá and flight to Pereira. Transfer to Montenegro and visit a coffee farm in Quimbaya. Overnight in Montenegro.
Day 8: Transportation to the municipality of Salento and tour of the Boquia Village. Then, visit the Cocora Valley to see the wax palms. Return to Salento for lunch and rest in Montenegro.
Day 9: Transfer to a handicraft workshop in Finlandia to learn about the history of bejuco basketry. Rest in Montenegro. <br>• Day 10: Transfer from Montenegro to Matecaña International Airport in Pereira. Flight to Bogotá or city of origin.
